About Daisy

Meet Daisy, a sweet 4-year-old Catahoulah mix who is looking for a loving forever home. Daisy has had quite a journey, starting as a neighbor's dog, where I volunteered to walk her. Unfortunately, her original owner became too elderly to care for her, and she was going to be surrendered to a shelter. I couldn't let that happen, so I offered Daisy a place at my grandparents' house. After they passed away, she was left on her own and eventually ended up in my immediate family's care. Daisy has a gentle and loving personality and is amazing with people-her friendly nature will win you over instantly! However, she's understandably anxious due to her past experiences. She has had a tough time with a German Shepherd in our household who tries to attack her, which has made her a bit territorial over her food. Daisy would thrive best in a home with a calm environment, no other aggressive dogs, and ideally a fenced-in yard where she can run and play freely. She deserves a second chance in a loving, stable home where she can relax, feel safe, and receive the attention she truly deserves.
