About IVY

MEET IVY! Ivy is a 4-1/2-year-old beautiful Dutch Shepherd mix in need of a forever home! She is currently in the Greater Seattle area. Ivy loves to run, hike and walk when she gets the chance, but indoors she has an 'off' button and is super calm and quiet. She has zero issues with resource guarding, stealing food, excessive barking, or chewing. She also cooperates well with teeth brushing and nail trimming. She's also extremely smart, and is quick to learn new things. A great girl! She has earned her AKC Canine Good Citizen and Community certificates and has been learning nose work, for which she has great aptitude. In addition to basic obedience, she knows right and left and can do a variety of tricks. She shows affection by leaning against you, nudging you with her nose, or gazing into your eyes with tail wagging. She loves to be scratched on the back of her neck and behind her ears. Like many active dogs, Ivy must get regular exercise and mental stimulation to be at her best. She would be perfectly suited to a person or people with an active lifestyle, someone who will give her a job or exercise that she loves. She's a wonderful, loving, amazing companion.
