Daisy showed up on our farm in Sept. '23. I fostered her, took her to basic obedience training and worked with her at home until a friend adopted her. They were perfect for each other. Daisy slept in his lap their first night together. Sadly, he died in December. Because he was alone, Daisy was taken to Guadalupe County TX animal control, a kill shelter. Unfair, but she was put on the euthanasia list, and a family friend pulled her. A lovely older couple agreed to take her in. However, Daisy is much too active a dog for them. Plus, she needs a secure high fence, given what we believe is her blend of breeds. Daisy is playful with her people, treat-driven and learns quickly. She needs someone who will continue to work with her and socialize her. She will bark assertively at strangers, particularly men. She plays well with dogs, but will react by barking/lunging if one growls at her. She is a really good girl for someone experienced with shepherds.
