About Copper

Copper is 3 year old tri-color Australian Shepard/Border Collie mix. We are sad to rehome him, but due to a severe medical diagnosis in our family, he no longer gets the attention he deserves. He is a very smart and amazing dog that just needs an owner that can give him more activity than we can. He needs a fenced in yard. He is currently trained on an invisible fence. He absolutely loves to catch a Frisbee or play ball, and is very athletic. He would be a great pal for hikes or walks. He learns quickly and has an extensive vocabulary. He is lovable yet mildly protective of the family. He is very social, loves interaction with people and does not like being left alone long. We are looking for someone who can train him and spend more time with him. If you have squirrels or rabbits in your yard he would be perpetually entertained. Don't tell him, but he will never catch them.
