About Moose

Meet Moose! She's a year old mastiff mix that has a date to get fixed and caught up on shots. Moose is a cuddle bug and has a medium amount of energy but loves walks. She's pretty good on a leash, is a little excited when you first get going but she's a fast learner and her recall is good. Moose, like many mastiffs, are protective of her space and will guard the bed/couch and will bark at people when she's in the car, so we don't let her on the bed/couch and she rides in her crate in the car with a blanket on top. She also guards her food from other animals so she should not go to a home with children. Moose was sadly abandoned by her first owners with us and has never adjusted to living with our dog. She plays fine with dogs at the park but will guard stuff at home so she might have to be the only dog in the home. She's extremely easy to groom and loves every moment of it. We really love Moose and it breaks our heart that we can't make it work. We're in no rush to rehome her, we just want to find a good fit for her.
