Rex has been in two homes that we know of...First home he was abused. 2nd home..adopted him directly from first family. They have three young kids and were not prepared, We, DOG GONE SMART, were contacted by mom...I went to see the dog..they were doing all the wrong things. Kids were allowed to touch the dog while he was sleeping on his bed. He bit two of the kids this way. They refused to do the leadership excerises with him so I put him on a muzzle (which his is very comfortable with) we had him groomed (groomer did NOT need muzzle) The owners refused to put muzzle on him and he bit them again. This time they thought he should be put down. I am fostering him at my home with my dogs and have not had an issue..although for safety he is in a crate when I am not home and a muzzle when out of the crate. I believe in the right home with a strong, active, patient leader, Rex will be a great dog.
