About Moose

Moose is an active, healthy 6 year old Chocolate Lab, who is very much still a puppy at heart. He is housebroken and has some advanced training. We are looking for a new home for him because he is a very active boy who gets over excited in certain situations and it's not the best fit for our family with children. He loves our cat and has lived with another male dog, but would need to be the alpha. He can get easily excited and has a hard time settling down. Moose is always happy and a complete mush who just wants to cuddle or be in the same room as you when in the house. Moose requires a home with someone who has dog experience and would benefit most from a family with another dog or someone who has time to exercise him each day. He loves to go for walks, swim and is a true Retriever who loves to play ball. Currently, he gets about a 30 minute walk and 15 to 20 min a day of ball throwing and this seems to satisfy him. Adoption fee will be donated to The Seeing Eye 4-H Puppy Cub of Ocean County
