About Zeus

Zeus is an energetic sweetheart who is the definition of a big goofy dog. He loves to play and explore but will also snuggle up on the couch or bed with you if you want him to. He's great with people and kids and loves to be included. Zeus does best if he can get regular exercise or spend a lot of time in a yard. He is potty trained and crate trained. He is used to sleeping in his crate overnight. Zeus is needing to be rehomed due to changes in his owner's situation. He has been a great dog and has been with his original owner since he was adopted at 10 weeks old. He is used to being around kids. Challenges for him include being food motivated (he has been crated during meals as he has a hard time resisting people food) and chewing toys that look like dog toys. He needs a strong hand with walking as he is quite strong, but is great for hikes and runs. He does best if he doesn't get too close to other dogs. He has never been aggressive but he is energetic and can get too close to other dogs which they don't always receive well. He is a special dog that we wish we could find a way to keep in our home. We are excited to find a new loving home for him.
