About PETEY

Petey came to us after being found stray up in Maryvale/Phoenix so we don't have much info on his history. Once Petey warms up to his person he loves to be held and cuddled but in typical chihuahua fashion he prefers 'his person'! He might be more of a ladies man though does seem like he may warm up to a man with time. He likes to sleep under the covers or sleep inside a crate with the door open. He will follow you all around the house. He is doing well with the housebreaking routine and will go when taken outside so will need someone consistent. He will need to have a very secured backyard as he is a lil Houdini and will crawl under the gate even if there is only a couple of inch clearing (block or brick would be best!). He does get along with other dogs but gets testy from time to time if they bother him too much and he can be a little dominant. He recently got a dental cleaning and is current on vaccine, neutered and microchipped. Petey is around 10 years old and is 6 lbs, and is not an excessive barker.
