I am looking for a home for Joy. He is a wonderful, charismatic, active dog. Thanks to him, I overcame the fear of walking in the forest, which had haunted me since adolescence. I have a spiritual connection with him and the pain of not being able to take care of him myself. The situation now is such that the persons who takes Joy into their heart will literally save him. He is a very active, intelligent, inquisitive dog. And in the conditions he is in now, he cannot live a full life. When I came to Ukraine a year ago for my dogs, my heart was breaking from the impossibility of taking him with me. In every red car, he saw our car that would take him to his beloved forest, which he had not seen for years. He appeared to me on a harsh winter evening in 2021. I could not watch as a sad, frozen giant sat near my fence, following passersby who did not pay attention to him. I just opened the gate, gave him food and let him in. I already had 2 dogs, one of which, brave, immediately made friends with Joy, played with him, even took over as the main one, although it was 3 times smaller than him, and the second, more delicate, was in constant stress. It was because of my second dog, which was also once rescued from the street by my son, that I was looking for owners for him, with whom his life would finally change for the better. Life was not friendly to Joey from his childhood - neighbors took him somewhere as a puppy, kept him on a short chain, from which Joy, when he grew up, began to break away and run for hours down the street. There were 2 unsuccessful attempts at adoption. He lived for six months with people from whom I took him neglected, all covered in ticks. I brought him into order. Every morning we went for a walk in the forest, I taught him to walk on a leash, simple commands. When the full-scale war began, I made the difficult choice to leave for Poland with my teenage son, leaving the dogs with my husband and father-in-law. Over time, I was able to take two dogs to Poland. Joy stayed with my father-in-law, who, due to his health, cannot provide Joy with quality care. The ideal option is to find a family for Joy abroad, since he has all the necessary documents that we made for him during the war. Joy is very stressed by explosions, he jumps over an almost 2-meter fence and puts himself in danger with his travels. He did not run away with me, because he was provided with activity, enough walks, communication, and it was peacetime then. Joy weighs about 30 kg, on long legs. Has an international passport, is vaccinated and dewormed on time, neutered. Located in Zaporizhzhia, Ukraine. Suitable for a person who needs a loyal friend and companion for walks, active games, who wants to experience the joy of saving a dog's life and increase the joy in own life. Joy has never shown aggression towards people; has no experience of interacting with small children; wants to interact with dogs, it is better to control contacts; reacts to cats with excitement, we kept our cat separately from him. I will be happy to answer any questions and really hope that there will be a person who will love Joy. I will also be grateful for any help in finding ways to adopt, reposts. With gratitude, Natalia Slyzun P.S.Joy is now in Ukraine, Zaporizhzhia, woth my my father-in-law. I am in constant contact with him
