About Poppy

Poppy is a 7 month old (as of 2/1/25) Cattle Dog mix. She has been at the rescue since she and her brother were found as very young puppies living in a field with a number of feral dogs. Poppy has grown into her own. She is great with the other, younger, puppies that have come through the rescue. Poppy is housebroken, and very good about not chewing on anything except her favorite cow hoofs! She will also play with stuffed toys and not destroy them. She is great on and off leash Poppy is not an entry level puppy! She needs a savvy adopter, with a dog or more, (she is great in a pack!), someone who understands dog behavior, especially herding dogs.
