Sassy is 2 years old and scary smart. Has a microchip and is cuurent on her vaccinations. We adopted her 6 months ago to help deal with a mouse concern and she did great. However, I've come to realize she is unhappy. She is a very affectionate cat and wants a lot of attention, but we are not a consistently affectionate family and are hardly ever home. Outside of her reaction to catnip, Sassy doesn't have any behavior issues. She's happy laying on someone's lap and having them rub her head. She also likes chasing the feathers on a couple of Fishing Pole toys we purchased. Sassy is not a picky eater and eats Delish by Rachel Ray and loves the lamb and salmon flavor. Once or twice a week she is given half a small can of either sardines, kippers or mackerel. Every now and then, I purchase a salmon head for about $4 from our local meat market and bake her portions of this over a 30 day time period. To ensure her success in finding a loving family, we are donating everything we've purchased since she was adopted, which entails the food, food storage, sleeping quarters (3) carrier, scratching posts (3) and the many toys.
