About Winnie

Meet Winnie! Winnie was previously a breeder dog that had limited to no social interaction before being given up after 4 litters of stillborn. Winnie has been with us for 2 years and has come a long way in terms of social interactions, she knows her name and loves to run around in the fenced yard, sleep in the bed, and watch you from across the room. As you get to know her, she will slowly start to warm up to you and become your couch buddy. She loves running around with other big or small dogs and does not mind cats. Small kids are not ideal as she is shy and can get overwhelmed very easily. If she stays on a routine schedule of going outside, she won't potty in the house. She is still scared of a leash, but we have been working on this. Winnie was spayed in 2023 and is up to date on her shots. She weighs about 14lbs. We will be selective on who Winnie goes to as we want to ensure that she has the best home possible. Winnie's ideal home is a home with or without another dog/cat and no kids - must have a fenced yard.
