Little Bear is an incredibly sweet and loving dog but he had a rough start to life. His first two years were in a hoarding situation with about 20 other dogs and not a lot of human contact. He is great with other dogs, but has had to learn a lot about humans. Now he knows how to play, to walk on a leash, and basic commands. The reason I want to rehome him is that he occasionally nips or snaps when triggered by certain things. I didn't realize this in time before he scared some of my family. I've been working on it but it means I can't take him with me for extended visits. My daughter in law was already afraid of dogs and this doesn't help. It will be hard for me to give up this dog. He is so beautiful, smart and fun but I know that someone out there could also give him a wonderful home where he has plenty of space to run and lots of love. He is 40 lbs and had his vaccinations in late December.
