[Read About Natural Cancer Care] Hello, This is Leela. She is approximately 11 years young! Despite some arthritis and old girl aches (that she has no idea are there)Well managed with Librela monthly. She had an anal sac adenocarcinoma in December of 2024. Both of her anal glands were successfully removed and the cancer was excised completely. Confirmed with medical records. Followed up ultrasounds that have been completed approximately every 3 months post surgery and has remained cancer free. Leela is a wonderful dog with a TON of energy and life in her. She loves her ball and endless attention. She is well loved and cared for. That brings me to the sad part... I am unfortunately having to re home her late in her life for a few honest reasons. I want to make sure that people reading this understand that as I am writing this.. I am sobbing. This decision has not been made lightly. I am a single woman, on a very limited income. Leela is very energetic and needs a lot of love and attention that I am unable to maintain due to struggling to survive. I have done my very best to explore every possible option prior to this, but Leela deserves to live the rest of her life running, playing, getting one on one attention. I want nothing more than to give her the best life in her golden years. I am just no longer in a position and will not be for the forseeable future, to be that person for her. I want her to go to a loving family that has a lot of time and space for her. She's been good with my cats. She is good with other dogs, but if they bother her too much (like at a dog park) she may gently correct them. She has always had a dog sibling and I have never had any issues. She loves people...anyone willing to throw the ball for her! She has not had much interaction with children, but her demeanor has not given me any indication she would have issues, but I'd suggest just some supervision with younger children just because she does have some painful areas that sometimes she may show some reaction (usually a little yelp, or may turn around, but not do anything) She really does not bark, she is crate trained. She is not on any other medication besides Librela and some vitamins. I would be happy to provide any medical records and vaccination records. Please no abusive language or coordination. This is the hardest decision I have ever had to make. When I adopted her I made a commitment, but this is truly the ultimate act of love. Happy to coordinate meet and greets to make sure it is a perfect fit. Thank you. I do need to re home her fairly quickly due to my living situation. Thank you for your consideration.
