About Pokey

If you're into lowriders, Pokey might just be your guy. He's on the small side, 17 lbs., has the short legs of a dachshund and the cute face of a chihuahua. He's trained to use a doggie door and housetrained! Pokey came in with his brother Gumby when their owners lost their home. He came to live with us while he waits on his perfect new family. He is shy, and a bit afraid of new people. A home with a fenced yard will help with socializing Pokey. He need leash training, but with a yard would give him the confidence to go straight out.
