What better day than National #DoggyDateNight to remind everyone about this little man named 'Onion' still waiting for help at Long Beach Animal Care Services! Onion is a medium sized little senior that was picked up by Animal Control Officers on 11/14/24 after reports of a dog wearing a T-shirt sitting at the sidewalk alone for several hours on Pine Ave. & Hill St. Residents in the area he was spotted at, as well as shelter staff, tried to locate an owner for this little guy but sadly there was no trace of a mon & dad ever looking for him :( Staff & volunteers at the shelter are hoping it's fate that #ValentinesDay will also be the 3-Month ShelterVersary for this #HeartThrob named Onion. Although Onion's story may make you shed a tear... unlike an actual onion, this 'Onion' will bring a smile to your face (and probably a chuckle or two). HI!
