About Willow

Willow is 2.5 years old. She is a mixed breed of mostly catahoula, some Klee Kai, and a little doberman. Her guard dog prowess is next level. Her ability to love is pure and beautiful. She is the most loving dog I have ever owned, 97% of the time. However'| she does come with caveats: she is 'resource guarder' and this requires a specific type of experienced dog owner to work with her. She has anxiety. She does not always play well with other dogs and she is weary around new people. She cannot currently be trusted around children. She is in the process of being muzzle-trained and will need to approach the outside world with a muzzle for the foreseeable future. She does not have a bite history, but she has not been given the chance to create one either, having stayed mostly at our Asheville house that has had a fair amount of room to roam. It will actually take her a few visits to get used to new humans'| but she will warm up and, when she does, she will be yours forever. She is completely housebroken, crate trained, waits to eat her food, and walks well on a leash. Intelligent, instinctual, and clearly stunningly beautiful.
