About Sophie

Sophie is a 10 month old Alaskan Malamute, and she had a rough start to life. She came from a hoarding & breeding 'farm' where she rarely had outside socialization or human interaction. Yet, once she trusts you, she opens up to be the sweetest gentle giant. She needs some work on socializing with the outside world, but so far she has done better than expected at events! Sophie is super dog friendly and would love to go to a home with another big dog to bond with! She has high prey drive so no cats or tiny dogs in the home would be best. She is completely potty trained, crate trained, and she is great in the car! Sophie is great with kids and she has a super gentle demeanor. Sophie loves to run around and play, and she is getting more confident on walks! She is very food motivated and she is very playful with toys. Even though she had a rough start to life, Sophie is really the sweetest girl. She will greet you with gentle kisses and she is very gentle. We would LOVE a malamute experienced home for her!
