About Emmy

Hello FCCR friends!!! My name is Emmy and I am 3 year old, 18 lb Maltipoo (my parents were a Maltese and a Poodle). The nice ladies at FCCR saved me from a loud shelter where I was scared and nervous and promised me a new life where I would be safe and loved. I can't wait to my forever home. Is that with YOU?! My life before coming here was ruff and I still get nervous with new people and places. Once I know I am safe, I will lay in your lap for cuddles and will be your faithful companion. I don't like to be with other dogs so I would like to find an ADULT-ONLY home where I can be your one and ONLY fur princess and don't worry I have great house manners. I haven't met cats yet so I don't have an opinion on them. I like to get out and explore and walk pretty well on my leash but I enjoy playing and feel safer in a fenced-in backyard so I'm hoping my new home will have one of those. My foster mommy is helping me build my confidence and learn how to play with toys (they keep throwing them but I don't know why they don't run and pick them up ) and basic commands.
