Hello to all. Please see attached picture of young, very friendly unneutered Belgian Malinois. Yesterday Sun.Feb.02 I spotted a dog at the intersection of West Taylor St. and N.First St. Dog was laying down on the sidewalk next to a metal pole and looked like it was tied up to the pole with the rope. It was a red traffic light to me and I stopped. Dog was very friendly, dirty, smelly, with a piece of rope attached to the collar, matching rope was attached to the pole, however not tied up together. Dog was definitely abandoned. Being a kind person, it took me time and effort to load a stinky dog into my car. We are on our way to Almaden Valley VCA next to my house. My ask was to help me with this stray dog, at least to hold him for a few hours. There were no animal patients at the VCA at that time and of course vet doctors were on duty. VCA verified that he is not microchipped and turned me around, no money, no service, no programs to the stray dogs. The word was taken to the Monterey Shelter. I have been coming to this VCA for the last almost 30 years. The dog is with me, I fed and gave him water. Wished him as well, he is cleaned and no any noticeable fleas. He is safe and sound in my backyard, resting on the large doggy bed. I have 2 dogs on my own and financially and logistically it would be tough for me to have one more family member. Unfortunately, San Jose Shelter on the Monterey Rd. full and accepting large dogs. They did not accept him. I am attaching a picture of him and kindly asking if there are any takers to adopt this poor guy. Shelters overloaded. Please do not solicit this post unless you are willing to adopt/rescue him. Please call, emails aren't working on this site. Thank you, Jacob
