About Ellie

Ellie is a 7 or 8 -year-old spayed female cat who is up to date on her vaccines and bloodwork. Ellie has excellent litter box behavior and is generally a well-behaved companion. Ellie was rescued from Cobb Animal Services around 2.5 years ago by my neighbor and friend, Shirley. She has been an indoor cat and the sole pet in the household, and overall, she is not destructive. However, Ellie does have a tendency to scratch the long carpet on the stairs and the ends of two pieces of furniture. Unfortunately, Shirley is facing a difficult transition as she must move into an assisted living facility soon due to the challenges of Parkinson's disease. Additionally, Ellie exhibits dominance behavior towards Shirley, including biting. Thankfully, Ellie has not exhibited this behavior towards me, as I have been Shirley's companion and helper for several years. We would love to find a home for her to give her a chance to be a well-behaved and happy cat.
