STELLA is currently in a high kill shelter in Georgia and is hoping to catch a ride on 2/8/25 with Mutt Life Dog Rescue to Cedarburg WI, but needs an ADOPTER or FOSTER to secure her spot! Please apply to foster or adopt on our website: www.muttlife.org ABOUT: stella is a 5 yea rold Altered Female and weighs in at 52 lbs. She is heart worm negative and is a shepherd mix of some sort. Stella is very chill, friendly and sweet. Calm in the kennel, dog/kid/cat people friendly. She is house trained, and walks good on the leash. She loves to give treats and is super affectionate with her humans. An overall good girl who would like a forever home of her own to relax and get pets and not have to worry about a thing for the rest of her days. She would be great for anyone who wants a solid all around good adult dog. She would be good for a family or someone who doesn't want to deal with the puppy behavior. She is currently getting treated for some hair loss on her tail, but it is getting better with time. __________ All of our dogs are up to date on vaccinations, heart worm prevention, and are heart worm tested prior to adoption if age appropriate. __________ Review adoption requirements and ensure you meet the necessary criteria to apply! https://www.muttlife.org/adoption-policies _________ ADOPTION PROCESS: 1.) Apply: Fill out adoption application completely and submit all necessary documents. 2.)Application Decision: approved applicants will be notified via phone call and email. �'��3.)Foster-to-Adopt Trial Period: after approval, you have the opportunity to do a meet and greet and bring your dog home! You get a 5 day foster-to-adopt (FTA) period to make sure its the right fit. 4.) Final Decision: By the end of the FTA period, please let us know your final decision to adopt or return the dog to our rescue. 5.) Home Visit: After the adoption process we conduct a home visit either in person or via zoom meeting to ensure that everything is going well with the transition and to answer any final questions you may have. 6.) Neuter/spay for puppies: if dogs are adopted prior to 6 months of age and are not neutered/spayed yet, we will work with you to coordinate an appointment with one of our veterinary clinic partners or you can go through your vet and we will give you a partial adoption fee reimbursement of $100. **Note: Adoptions are not considered final until the dog is neutered/spayed if applicable**
