About Rucko

Male Pitbull (was told purebred) I need to find a home for handsome Pitbull, Rucko, my daughter and I rescued from Houston. He was taken as a puppy by previous owner and never got his shots. He was born in December 2023. They didn't have time for him. Was emaciated when we rescued him. He is doing great healthwise here. We got him neutered in December and got his distemper and rabies shots. We didn't get him microchipped. He is a very loving dog and very playful. We have 3 other dogs and he is constantly rough housing with them. He plays aggressively and has barked at women and children aggressively. He barks aggressively at our cat also. We have farm animals that he has attacked and killed. I used to be home and could referee but I am working full time now in Dallas, as well as my husband and we live in Haslet. My mother-in-law is the one home and can not continue to handle all 4 dogs as he has bruised her being very rough. We know it's his nature, but her safety takes priority. I must find him a permanent home. I'm thinking he's the perfect companion for a single adult male, perhaps a veteran in need of a canine companion. He sits on my husband lap and snuggles as long as my husband will let him.
