Polly is a beautiful, sweet, playful, kittenish, and fun, golden-eyed, one-year-old, seven-pound, petite female, black cat looking for a loving guardian. Her rescuer says Polly is empathetic, she's good to her people and other cats (after proper intro, of course.) She showed up in the yard of her foster mom's home in Rockford, Illinois, and would not take no for an answer. She wanted in. She's not really a lap cat but adores humans. She is incredibly tolerant of curmudgeonly cat behaviors and loves her people. She's not one to hide. She's friendly to visitors to her foster home. And, she's hoping for a home with another cat to hang out with. Polly is well-behaved in the home, litter box trained, and loves both horizontal and vertical cat scratchers. She is very healthy, dewormed, spayed, microchipped, vaccinated for distemper and rabies, and virus-tested negative. To meet and possibly adopt Polly, please fill out an adoption application https://friendsofpetraits.com/cat-adoption-application/ After the application is complete, please contact friendsofpetraits@gmail.com to schedule an appointment to meet her. Her adoption fee of $175 benefits the Friends of Petraits Rescue. She is being fostered in Rockford, but can also meet adoption applicants in Chicago's Andersonville neighborhood.
