About Abby

** URGENT !! FOSTER NEEDED OR ADOPTER **** This is Abby. She's a 60 lb 5 year-old Rotweiller mix, recently spayed and is fully vaccinated. She's a super sweet dog and gentle giant that loves belly rubs and snuggling. Abby is crate-trained and housebroken. She's also great with being in cars for longer rides. She's still learning her leash manners but does great at not tugging too hard when on a front-leash harness. For all of her lovely qualities, Abby is reactive to dogs when on-leash and has a lot of anxiety. She would benefit greatly with a home that has a fenced yard and people who have experience training dogs with reactive behaviors, as well as longer-term place to land (upwards of 3 months). Abby's fostering situation is ended this weekend where she had to return to the South Central shelter. PLEASE don't let her need to stay there.
