About Luna

Luna is a 5 year old German Shepherd who urgently needs a new home. She's a high energy girl who loves to play fetch, especially if it's in water. She would make an amazing dock diving dog. She does good with our cats, will sometimes chase the more skittish cat but leaves the confident cat alone. She is fear reactive to dogs, but has met other dogs and does okay for the most part. She will snap if the dog is pushy or gets in her face, she prefers to be left alone in the beginning but once she warms up she loves to play. She doesn't trust people at first, and will snap at hands if someone reaches to pet her before she's ready. She's not aggressive and has never bit or made contact with her teeth before. She is muzzle trained and crate trained, does good on a leash and knows basic commands. She loves to hike and be with someone all the time. She has no separation anxiety, and isn't destructive.
