Please help me live! Mcacc Shelter has given me a deadline due to kennel stress. I have done nothing wrong so I hope you come and meet me before my deadline! Poor Maddy is so over this shelter life-it's just not her vibe. This sweet girl is stressed, has an upper respiratory infection, and desperately needs someone to take her home where she can finally relax! In the yard, Maddy starts off with zoomies and excitement but settles down after a few minutes. She loves attention, leans in for pets, and even rests her front paws on your lap like she's claiming you as her person. Toss a toy, and she's all about the chase! She takes treats like a polite little lady and walks nicely on a leash (except when she sees a reactive dog-then she might pull a little). Maddy is an affection machine-she jumps on benches just to be closer, happily soaks up all the pets, and even has an adorable snorting habit when she gets excited! She can be a bit mouthy in play (think goofy, no-pressure tug-of-war with the leash), but she's just having fun and learning. She came into the shelter on 1/9 with a wiggly body, loving every bit of attention she got from staff.
