We adopted him at 7 months from an abusive environment with no details on type of abuse. In the beginning, we observed fear and trust issues, but we gained his trust except when loud noises such as fireworks, gunshots and thunder he becomes nervous and needs human near or be crated. We love him, he is loving, caring and extra protective but we r unable to trust our son with him because he doesn't read the dog well and dog has growled and pushed him a few times.
