$50 Adoption fee! Why so low? Yakima County is spilling over with stray and dumped dogs. Our goal is to get dogs into the right homes ASAP so we can help other dogs in need. It's not about the money, it's about finding the right home for these pups! Shadow had her puppies in someone's back yard and the home owners let her raise her puppies there until they were old enough to be weaned from mom. The puppies went to the Humane Society, and Shadow came to us! She was very scared when we first met. I could touch her, but she was absolutely terrified. Over the next couple days, I could touch her more and more - and now her true personality is shining through! She loves being around the other dogs, has shown us she is definitely a cuddler, and has decided she can trust humans again. She will be a bit shy at first, but is learning to warm up quickly. Adopters will need to have patience with Shadow as she learns to trust her new family. This dog is located in Selah, WA. PetFinder allows multiple postings of the same animal as long as the postings are 100 miles apart from each other. This way we can reach far and wide to find the perfect home for this dog.
