About Sparky

Sparky is a delightful 4 yr old toy terrier maybe fox maybe rat. He is about 6 pds. Despite his small size he makes his prescence known. He is neutral to most other dogs, polite with people. He is housebroken, crate trained. He has recently come into rescue so we are giving him time to blossom. what we have discovered so far, he would love to covet you to the exclusion of other dogs. That means he wants you all to himself. He does get along with the other dogs, but he would be great by himself IF you are a capable handler that will NOT let him run the show. He will try to push buttons in true terrier fashion, and pout when he doesnt get his way. Will let him go to folk that know about terrier mentality and traits lol. Yes he would most likely be a lap dog, and do dress up. But not in my home. He will guard his toys, loves his crate and he really hasnt marked. If you are looking for a small dog that is moderate activity level, on the quiet side, Sparky may be just your type. He would be great for walks, hikes a companion for the farmers market or well just about anywhere!! Fostered in Bradenton, he will be ready to go as soon as he recovers from his neuter which is just about now. 2/5
