About Lightening

Lightning is a 28-pound, one-year-old pup with a heart as big as the sky! While he was a little shy at first, once he gets to know you, he's all about cuddles, playtime, and soaking up attention. He has been social with other dogs, playing with his buddy Contessa and his former housemates, and does fine around cats too. Since he didn't walk on a leash in his previous home, he's still getting used to it. A secure fenced yard would be ideal while he works on his leash skills. We think he'd gain confidence in a home with another friendly, well-adjusted dog. Lightning is a loving, playful pup looking for a home where he can shine. PLEASE NOTE: All your current pets must be spayed/neutered, vaccinated and on heartworm prevention to adopt from Polka Dogz. We only adopt in Florida. All adoption fees go to help all the dogs in the rescue, some of which require extensive medical care. Thank you for caring for the greater good.
