More About Lucy - The Energetic & Lovable Miniature Schnauzer! We rarely get young dogs in rescue and only help rehome them from families that need our help. We do not go to other states to get them, take breeder surrenders, or participate in auctions. Young dog adoptions are not readily available all the time, so if you've been thinking about Lucy, let us know! Lucy is a 2-year-old Miniature Schnauzer with a playful spirit and a heart full of love! This energetic girl thrives on walks, playtime with her favorite toys, and snuggling up for cuddles after a day of fun. Lucy is great with kids, certain dogs, and cats that can handle her puppylike enthusiasm. However, due to her habit of jumping up to greet with excitement, she's best suited for families without toddlers. Lucy's interactions with adult dogs vary-while some dogs love her youthful energy, others prefer their space. She does well with cats, but only those who are tolerant of her playful antics. Minimum Requirements: Lucy needs a family located in the Twin Cities area with a fenced yard where she can safely play. She isn't suited to being left home alone all day and thrives in a household where someone is available to spend time with her regularly. Lucy would be the perfect fit for an active family that's excited to help her refine her basic behaviors through training or classes.
