NEEDS AN ANGEL ON EARTH [Case opened on 1/30/25]. COLUMBIA STATION, OHIO . 1.5 Y/O MALE LONG HAIRED GSD . His name is 'LEVI '. Background: Current Shepherd Parent has had Levi for about 9 months. UTD on shots WITH record. NOT Fixed. Good with kids. Good with dogs. UNKNOWN with cats. House trained. Crate trained. LUMBOSACRAL STENOSIS. HIGH ENERGY. HIGH PREY DRIVE . Currently on 'Hills Prescription Biome GI Chicken' food. Weighs 65 lbs. Good with car rides. Loves: playing outside- food - playing in water - playing in snow - toys - Benebones - playing with other dogs (big or small) - going on walks - chilling on the couch. Personality: a big goofball - reserved at first. Levi is a great and playful pup. He is very intelligent and knows Basic Commands. He will wait to eat and drink until told that he can. He is a great boy and shy at first, but once he is comfortable, he opens up and shows his Derpy Self. He loves playing in water and will actually stick his whole head in the water bowl lol. He is very sweet and gives kisses. He does have Lumbosacral Stenosis, it is MILD. Please do your research on this. He is NOT on any medication, but does have to have his PRESCRIPTION Dog Food, which is about $135 for a big bag on Chewy. The Current Shepherd Parent needs to re home Levi because she cannot commit to Levi due to lack of time and knows that Levi needs and deserves more. Levi needs someone who is home a lot and someone who is able to work through his disease with him, and make sure he gets the care, food and meds (if ever needed) that he needs. Levi is still a young pup and has a lot of life and years in him. The disease has NO physical impact whatsoever at the moment on Levi but he has been diagnosed. He is playful as ever and will make a great companion for the right person. Comes with: collar, leash, food, bowls, toys.
