For years, Buddy lived in the shadows, never knowing the warmth of a kind touch or the simple joys of being a cherished companion. Now, at 4-6 years old, Buddy is beginning to rewrite his story. Since leaving the breeding life behind, he has started to discover the world outside his cage. He's still shy around humans, but his curiosity peeks through in the most heartwarming ways-like quietly following you from room to room or bravely taking a treat from your hand. Buddy feels most at ease around other animals, finding comfort in their presence. Their companionship reassures him that the world isn't as scary as it once seemed. While he's still learning to trust humans, he adores his furry friends and would thrive in a home with patient, kind-hearted pets to help him feel safe. Buddy is almost fully potty trained, a huge milestone for a dog with his past. He's also discovering the joys of a fenced yard, where he can explore at his own pace and feel the grass beneath his paws-a simple pleasure he was denied for far too long.
