About Boomerang

Boomerang is 4 years 10 months. He is a one owner dog. He's about a 60 pound full grown male. He has become hard for me to handle his reactivity in sitautions getting in and out of my pickup truck. He has been excellent on hiking trails. His problem is he no longer accepts me to put a leash on him for 2 years nopw. He has won the Alpha connection on ceratin scenarios. He could use a lot of ranck type of dog interplay he is good at dpg parks and needs his 2-3 miles a day hikes. I used to hike with him daily until anincident occured and I do not want to chance geting bit. He can no longer get into the pickup truck back seat I have securred for him. I am a 76 year old senior man and I do not have the patience to put myself into any more precarious situaions. I have had hm since I adopted him at 6 weeks old. He was thwe last of liter of 9. I can not afford specilty training on a fixed retirement income. He wopuld do well as an extra ranch dog with other herding type breeds.He has lived on my haldf acre lot for 4 plkus years. He can be very sweet but will be protective of his space and toys. He's been neutered late at 2 years and a half. He's healthy and will need his rabies vaccine soon. He had his last 3 year series in September 2021. He responds to his name and seems to respond to females pretty wellIt breaks my heart to part ways and I am thinking of his own welfare. I will be seling my house and relocating by the end of Spring 2025.
