About Gabriel

Gabriel, as his name implies, is an angel disguised as a 9 pound five-year-old Maltipoo. This young guy came into rescue on New Years Day after being found by a compassionate family. He was waiting on the curb checking out every car.�%A0 He was filthy, stinky and his feet were totally matted and looked like clubs.�%A0 After 3 hours of cleaning him up we were very afraid of what was inside the mess on his front leg. The next day he saw the vet who determined the infection was so bad and much of his paws was missing so his leg had to be amputated. After surgery he never complained. He got up immediately and was ready to go. Every day he is getting stronger with daily leash walks. He has been completely housebroken since day one. When out on break he mingles with several other dogs without incident. Gabriel occasionally barks if he needs to go out or if breakfast is too slow coming, but otherwise he is quiet and sweet. He is very attached to his foster. He loves lying beside his person and follows wherever they go. He is very loyal and well mannered. Gabriel was neutered, microchipped, had several teeth removed, vaccinated, heartworm negative and wormed.
