TRANSPORTATION AVAILABLE ALMOST ANYWHERE WITHIN REASON FOR A WONDERFUL LOVING HOME. Millbury OH, Hank just turned 4. He is UTD/neutered and microchipped and really really sweet. He has been diagnosed with epilepsy but it is well managed and he hasnt had a seizure for over a year. This is from his owner: I am looking to rehome my St. Bernard, Hank. Please see his bio below: Hank was born 11/24/2020 and weighs about 135 pounds. He is good with our toddler but is only around him while supervised. He is very good around our cats and our small dog. He has been around another St. Bernard twice for a play date that went very well. He has never shown any signs of aggression or bit anyone. He is housebroken and walks well on a leash (though we don't do that very often as we have a large fenced-in area out in the country). He knows basic commands and is really a sweet boy. He is great for brushing, nail trims, baths, and teeth brushing. He LOVES to play fetch and spend a lot of time outdoors. However, he has a seizure condition that is well controlled as long as he takes prescription medication which costs roughly $150-200/month. His last seizure was in fall 2023. He is also microchipped and had the stomach tacking surgery that helps prevent bloat. Meds are as follows: Prescribed by East Suburban Animal Clinic (we fill these at Meijer): Phenobarbital 3x97.2mg every 12 hours Levetiracetam ER (extended release): 5x500mg every 12 hours Topiramate: 3x100mg every 12 hours Potassium Bromide (RX from Chewy.com [it's a dog-only med]) 1x1000mg every 12 hours *He is also on interceptor and effitix for flea and tick prevention, not included in the above cost. These are vet-recommended, as other flea/tick meds can exacerbate seizures. Hank will come with all his doggy stuff: large crate and pads, large aluminum cot-type bed with pad, large food container, runners for slippery paws on hard floors, collar, leash, bowls, etc. and of course whatever food and meds we have on hand. We will deliver him a few hours away if needed. We just want him to go to a loving home that will care for him properly. We are rehoming him because we no longer have the time to give him the attention he really deserves. I'm including that info because I want you to know he is an awesome dog, and it isn't because of his behavior in any way. He is a great guy.
