Meet Skeeter! The young lady with the most boopable nose and eyes that will change your life. She's an 8 month old female border collie and is working on building her confidence as the world is a little scary to her still. She has very little interest in the cat, ducks, goats and cows at her foster home and really only has eyes for her human, even when meeting new dogs. She had no issues with the dominant female dog and young male dogs at her foster home, and all humans are her friends. She seems to not mind the children at the foster home, so she might be able to live with a family as long as the children have been trained to know how to respect a dog's space. All in all, Skeeter's confidence is building and she is ready to find her forever home! Ideally Skeeter would love to live in a nice quiet home with a good amount of space for running around and laying in the sunshine on warm days. She probably would not like the hustle and bustle of city life. But a suburban home in a quiet neighborhood on a big lot with a nearby hiking trail or park would be nirvana for Skeeter! Skeeter loves people, polite dogs, hanging out with her humans outside, and generally being in nature. She's a classic Velcro dog with minimal herding desire so cats and small dogs would likely be okay. Skeeter is spayed, up to date on vaccines, and has a microchip. She is being fostered in Issaquah, Washington. Her adoption fee is $400.
