About Onyx

ONYX is a 5 year old, 9.1 pound Pomeranian surrendered to us. She is a beautiful little girl who has not had a lot of socialization. ONYX is sweet and shy and learning about the big world around her! She is friendly and loves affection. Her tail wags like a windmill when she gets excited to see you and she loves her couch cuddles! She will jump up on your lap for loving and loves being there so much she tries to stay in your lap when you get up. ONYX is the type of dog who is going to be better in a home with another small dog that she can gain confidence from and follow as she learns how to be a pet. She has played with one of her foster siblings and would be so happy with a little friend. We do not know how she would be with cats and she has not been around kids that we are aware of. ONYX is not potty trained, but her foster family is working with her. She will pee outside, but still has inside accidents. She is just learning to walk on a leash and needs a fenced yard. So many things are unfamiliar to her that it will help her feel safe. At night, ONYX sleeps quietly in a dog bed in a puppy pen overnight. She will use a puppy pad in there if she has to potty during the night. ONYX has been to the vet for a wellness check, is up to date on shots, spayed, heartworm negative, has had a 12-month ProHeart heartworm prevention shot and is microchipped with a lifetime registration. She also had a dental and lost all of her teeth.
