Name: Pepper Age: 9 years Breed: Pomeranian, 10 pounds Sex: Female (spayed) Location: Sampson County, NC Pepper is currently being fostered in Sampson County NC and foster is looking for a somewhat local adopter. Owner went into long term care facility. Vet Info: Pepper is a nine year old blind girl that does not have a microchip. Cause of blindness is unknown. She has a slight heart murmur but is otherwise healthy. Pepper is current with her vaccinations but has not had a heartworm test. Dog Info: Pepper is in need of a quiet home with an adopter that will take their time with her. Pepper will snap if touched without any vocalization. She is fine being handled if you speak to her first. Pepper is not housebroken but does use wee pads, and is not leash trained. She is not possessive with treats, toys or food. She will likely take just a few days to acclimate to her new home. She is nervous and shy, good with adults would do best in a home with no small children. She is not interested in interacting with cats or dogs but can live with them if they respect her space. **Owner Surrender Disclaimer: These are blind and visually impaired dogs who are living in homes, but their owners can no longer keep them.
