Mel (#A2159457) came into the shelter as a stray on August 25, 2024, and has been waiting for his forever home since! He is a sweet, 22-month-old neutered male. Mel is also eligible for foster. He's been in playgroups at the shelter, and his play style is described as push/pull and gentle/dainty. Slow and monitored introductions are always recommended in a new home. He recently got to enjoy a day out with a volunteer and was described as easy on the leash, calm in the car, and friendly with people he met. We've noticed him perk up at stray cats, so he likely should not be in a home with cats. We'd love to see this gorgeous boy start the New Year in a home of his own.
