About 'PAPI'

OWNER HAS CANCER, AND HAD TO SURRENDER THIS FRIENDLY, ADORABLE 51 LB BOY 'PAPI' TO HI KILL APPLE VALLEY ANIMAL SERVICES, Apple Valley, CA (So Cal) - ID #248488 -- NEEDS A GOOD HOME OR FOSTER AND RESCUE TO SAVE HIS LIFE- GOOD W/OTHER DOGS TOO We are in urgent need of finding either a good home or a foster & rescue for dear Papi who is listed as a 5 year old shepherd chow mix. Sadly, shelter notes indicate he was surrendered, 'due to mom being diagnosed with cancer and cannot keep the dogs. Good with other dogs, friendly with people, well behaved per owner'. We are unclear if there were other dogs surrendered too, but we are checking and will post them separately if so. Sadly, he is at one of the highest kill shelters in our state, and per his listing, it says he is available to rescues on 2/1 and may be euthanized also on this date. This shelter typically euthanizes very quickly, sometimes the due out/rescue day or the next. Rescues need a foster to save. Papi is already neutered and so handsome, but does not have long.
