**DESPERATELY Looking for Help to Rehome Our Dog, Ella* I'm 9 months pregnant, and with our baby arriving any day now, we are in urgent need of help finding a new home for our beloved dog, Ella. This is an incredibly heartbreaking decision, but we've come to the conclusion that Ella would be better suited in a home where she can thrive without the stress of a newborn and growing family. Ella is a 5-year-old bulldog/lab/ possibly boxer rescue mix that we've had since she was a puppy. She's a lovely, smart, and playful dog who adores playing fetch and being around her people. While she's always been a little anxious, which has made her slightly reactive at times, we've never had issues with her being reactive toward humans until I became pregnant. We've worked on training and teaching her commands to help, but unfortunately, we've realized that Ella's anxiety makes her unsuitable for a home with a newborn. Her behavior has been more reactive during my pregnancy, which we believe is a big factor, but we just don't feel comfortable having her around a baby. Ella truly is a great dog who deserves the chance to live in the right environment. I don't think she would do well in a shelter due to her anxiety, and this transition will already be hard on her (as it will be on us). She would do best with someone willing to work with her and her anxiety to make it manageable in her new environment. We're searching for a miracle to find her the perfect home where she can thrive and be loved for the wonderful dog she is. She would do best in a home: Without other pets or children Ideally with a backyard where she can play fetch to her heart's content Here's some additional information about Ella: 5 Years Old Spayed 55 pounds Up-to-date on all shots Located in Lake Worth, FL If you or someone you know might be able to give Ella the home she deserves, please reach out to me. It's truly heartbreaking to let her go, but we want to ensure she ends up in the best place possible for her.
