About Althea

Althea's story is a bittersweet one. Born the runt of her litter, Thea's breeder offered her 'free' on Craigslist. Her first adopter saw the ad and rushed to bring her home, determined to give her a chance at a good life. For 14 months, Thea knew love, training, and companionship. Her adopter dedicated time and care to her, but unfortunately, life took a difficult turn. Facing hard times, he made the heartbreaking decision to surrender Thea, shedding many tears in the process. Thea's world was turned upside down. In foster care, she cried for days, mourning the loss of her only human. Though she was safe, she felt scared and alone. But Thea's spirit is strong, and with patience and love, she began to heal. Now, she's a happy, trusting girl with a gentle, sweet soul. She's eager to please, loves deeply, and only wants to feel the warmth of a loving home again. Thea is still young and full of puppy energy. She adores running, playing ball, and chewing on bones. She's ready to bring joy to a new family-one that can give her the second chance she so deserves. Thea is a 1.5 year old lab mix. She come spayed, vaccinated and house trained.
