About Zelda

Zelda is a 4-year-old, mix of Husky, Shepherd, Border Collie, and/or Cattle Dog. Zelda greets you with affection, and while she's well-mannered (no jumping), she'll happily nuzzle you and show off her silly side. She thrives in active environments (especially snow), loving games like tug-of-war and fetch with a ball or frisbee, and fetch in the water (she is a strong swimmer). She also enjoys being chased-giving her those fun 'zoomies.' Zelda loves spending time outdoors and has a strong prey drive for small critters like bunnies, birds, squirrels, and raccoons. Despite this, she's not an escape artist, is loyal to her environment and people. Zelda is reactive to canine friends and is seeking a home as the only animal. While she enjoys walks and exploring, it is important Zelda's humans can offer her leadership, structure, and control so that she set up to succeed when she is out and about on leash in the presence of other dogs. She is very smart and knows a large variety of commands. Zelda is losing her home as a result of a move and change in life circumstance. She is available for private rehome. She is spayed, current on DAPP, Rabies, Bordatella, and she is 4DX negative.
