This sweet boy needs a new home! I rescued him and his sister from a neglect situation where he was in a kennel 24/7, not being fed and eating his own feces. He was 45 pounds when I got him and he is now a thriving 70 pound giant ball of love. He's come a long way in the 7 months I've had him but he needs more attention and with him I have 4 dogs which is too much for me. I would love for him to go to people who love him and have time and resources to give him what he needs. His issues: - Skin issues. Because of his neglect he was full of fleas and had no fur. He no longer has fleas and gets special shampoos which has helped his skin almost back to normal. - Heart. He has a small heart murmur. It does not affect him in any way but I take him to a cardiologist every 6 months to get it checked out. He runs and plays like a greyhound. - Training. Because he was in a kennel for almost a year with little relief, he is starved for affection. He has done well with training but he needs more. He has no idea he's a big dog now and is all legs and love. What you get: You get a dog who is an absolute sweetheart. He has been around my lab, Brittany, and his sister who is a miniature whippet. He loves other dogs. He also loves my cats and they put up with his constant cobbing as he shows them how much he loves them. He loves kids and had two of his own. However, he probably needs to not be in a household with smaller children since he's a bumbling fool and will not look where his butt or legs are. I would love to see him go to someone who can give him the attention he deserves. I wish I could keep him but he deserves more.
