About Fenrir

Adoption Fee: $50
Australian Cattle Dog
Sex: Male

This adorable Australian Blue Heeler was found wandering in Conyers, GA on Dec 12, 2024. We posted him everywhere we could think of online, but we could not find his owner. We think he may have been dumped. He has no microchip, and his collar had no tag. We call him Fenrir, but we have no idea what his real name is. He is very friendly. He fell in love with us immediately and he started 'guarding' our front door right away. He is trained, his tail is docked, and he tends to wait to eat or go through a door until given verbal permission. All of this indicates he was probably a working dog, but we don't know for sure. In 'guarding' our property, he will try to stop any strangers who try to approach. However, he has never been aggressive with us or with people we introduce him too. We have never seen him interact with children or cats, so we have no idea if he is good with them. He had a playdate with a neighbor's dogs and they got along great. He took a submissive role to the other dogs, which the neighbor told me indicated Fenrir is probably young. He is incredibly playful! He enjoys fetch, and he's ok at it, but he absolutely ADORES tug-of-war. He will find and stick and bring it to you hoping you'll try to wrestle it from him. He is great on walks and hikes.
