About Janet

Hi! I am Janet, a pineapple green cheek conure. I am 3 years old, DNA'd as a female, I have never had a mate, I got along with a 65 year old Macaw and several lovebirds and cockatiels. I am only aggressive when you try to grab me from my cage. I will fly to you anywhere in the house if the cage is open. I love to hang out in your hair and lick your ears. I have to come to you, you can't come to me. My favorite foods are Pistachios, Apples (any color except green) and lemon balm. I love baths. I come with my cage, travel cage, heater, avian light, and so many extras. My family's lifestyle is changing in a big way and I would love to find a family, or mate, to live my life out with a great family. With the right training, I would 100% become a companion bird and want to stay with you all the time, if you have the time to spend with me. I can be bitey, but never hard enough to break the skin. My current family owns over 100 chickens & ducks and 2 dogs who I get along with, but the situation just isn't right for them right now. We are located off exit 9 on I-20 if you're headed towards Alabama. We can send more pictures of me and my cage if you're interested.
