About Bunny

Bunny is about 45 pounds,fit and healthy. She looks like a short-hair border collie with the standard black and white markings. I babysat her for about 2 weeks. Her owners have too many dogs, and she needs more attention than they can give her. She was polite in the house, never messed in the house even though she was never officially potty trained. She came and got me instead. They allowed her on furniture, but I didn't, and she listened. She had never been trained at all but wants desperately to please and offers fantastic eye contact. She is a very quietly brave dog and I really liked her. Her problems are leash pulling, and she needs a job that involves exercise. When she is loose, she explores but comes back, not wandering too far. She came when I called but not as good as she should. She doesn't bother other animals like dogs, horses, cattle and cats but loves the cat chase game if they run from her. She had separation anxiety if I left her at first but it was getting better. In 2 weeks she learned to sit, lie down, stay (not perfectly), turn around, fetch, and 'go find it'.
